Classroom this week, freshmen and sophomore students gathered at the auditorium and listened to the lectures of 4 different foreign teachers. They were able to learn about other countries and practice their English skills without leaving the school!

Karen, from Mexico, introduced many Mexican customs, such as what are real Mexican foods. Karen showed that in Mexico, greetings are done by kissing on the cheeks! This was something refreshing for Chinese students, who are more shy.

Bryan, from the US, talked about that America is the land of diversity! From food, to people to religions etc. He showed us why US is renowned internationally for their reputation to be inclusive and accepting of other peoples.

Andreas, from Uganda, talked about food and living in his hometown. Andreas often jokes with the students after class and all students love him

Tai, immigrated to US when he was little, talked about being educated in both China and the US. He talked about the culture shock in moving to a brand new country, and encouraged students to try new things to enrich themselves further.
